SEATTLE — Seattle police homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound in North Seattle.
Neighbors began calling 911 shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday to report hearing a single gunshot in the area of Midvale Avenue North and North 96th Street.
Officers arrived to find the body of a 47-year-old man just outside an RV parked in the Licton Springs neighborhood.
Neighbors said the vehicle has been parked on the street for several weeks.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Seattle Police Department tip line at 206-233-5000.
