SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. — Skagit County is asking residents to submit assessments estimating how much damage their homes and businesses sustained during the November floods.
As of Dec. 13, the Skagit County Department of Emergency Management has received forms reporting damage totaling $9,641,909.
So far, 20 businesses and dozens of residential properties reported damage, according to the county. Sixteen of those residential property were reported completely destroyed.
Skagit County Public Works and the Parks & Recreation Departments also reported over $4 million in damage to county roads and infrastructure.
Residents have until Dec. 17 at 5 p.m. to submit the forms and possibly receive assistance.
