WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. — A small 2.3 magnitude earthquake hit Whidbey Island, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.
It happened at 7:46 p.m. Friday.
The depth of the quake was 16 miles.
The distance of the quake from Everett was 8.43 miles, according to a seismologist.
On Wednesday night three small quakes rattled people in east King County in 24 hours.

The first quake struck after 7 p.m. It was a magnitude of 3.4.
No damages were reported.
