The Federal Aviation Administration said one person died in Thursday’s small plane crash near North Bend.
However, that person has not been identified.
The wreckage of the plane was found Thursday afternoon, according to the FAA.
The single-engine Mooney M20 departed at 9:30 a.m. from the Arlington Municipal Airport and was bound for Joslin Field in Twin Falls, Idaho but had disappeared, putting its last location near Bandera State Airport.
Officials confirmed that the wreckage was found southeast of Bandera, Washington.
There was an unknown number of people reportedly on board but that information has not been confirmed yet.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
