The Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force is asking for the public’s help in finding a wanted Level 3 register sex offender.
Deputies said Timothy McCamey, 40, is out of compliance and has a nationwide extraditable felony warrant for failure to register and a Department of Corrections escape warrant for failure to register.
A judge granted McCamey a temporary release order on March 30, and he was released from jail.
Deputies said he has since cut off his electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and has not returned.
McCamey has convictions for first-degree child molestation, third-degree child molestation, unlawful imprisonment and three counts of failure to register, deputies said.
Deputies said McCamey is homeless and is known to frequent the Everett, Marysville and Arlington areas. He is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing about 200 pounds with brown hair.
Anyone with information about his location is asked to call 911.
