Snohomish County opens 5th mass vaccination site at Angel of the Winds

Vaccine distributed at Angel of the Winds in Everett

EVERETT — The Snohomish County Vaccine Taskforce has opened their fifth mass vaccination site at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett.

The one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered by the clinical staff of the Snohomish Health District. It will be the first use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

A new registration system is in use for Angel of the Winds, called PrepMod, which is already in use by several other counties.

All mass vaccination sites are by appointment only and only for those eligible in the current phase. You can reach the call center at 425-339-5278 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you call outside those hours, you can leave a message which will be returned the next business day.

Appointment availability is based on vaccine availability and the demand often exceeds the supply, so it may take time to get an appointment.

More than 106,000 people in Snohomish County have received their first dose of a COVID vaccine and another 53,557 have been fully vaccinated.

The other four sites are the Boeing Everett Activity Center, Arlington Municipal Airport, Edmonds College and the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.

Information on which vaccine (Johnson & Johnson, Moderna or Pfizer) is being administered at which location is available at bit.ly/snocovaccine along with the appointment registration links.
