Sound Transit seeking input on Federal Way Transit Center

Sound Transit wants the public to weigh in on the new Federal Way Transit Center station design.

The design is 60% complete and will bring passengers south from Angle Lake to Des Moines, Kent and Federal Way.

Those who take the online survey will weigh in on transit connections, a new local street configuration, art placements and new landscaping.

The online survey will be available starting today through May 10.

It will be available in English, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Somali and Korean.

The 7.8-mile extension will include three new stations at Kent/Des Moines, South 272nd Street and the Federal Way Transit Center.
