Seattle police are investigating a shooting Sunday afternoon near Alki Beach.
Police tweeted about the shooting, which happened near 60th Avenue SW and SW Stevens Street, around 1 p.m. 911 callers reported hearing multiple shots fired in a nearby alley.
Update: Officers have taken the suspect into custody. Officers are not searching for any additional suspects. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

A man was found seriously injured with multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses told police that the suspect had walked toward the beach, where he was taken into custody shortly after.
Police are investigating.
