SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department is investigating a West Seattle shooting that left a man seriously injured on Monday.
SPD said around 2:40 p.m., there were multiple reports of gunfire near the intersection of 35th Avenue South and South Webster Street.
Witnesses said they saw suspects in two cars shooting at each other as they fled the area.
Officers got there and found evidence of a shooting but no victims. Police also found bullet damage to multiple buildings and an abandoned car several blocks away.
When officers were collecting evidence, they found out a 30-year-old man arrived at Harborview Medical Center with a gunshot wound. He is currently in stable condition.
Detectives responded and are working to figure out what led up to the shooting.
No suspects have been identified.
