KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has closed a portion of State Route 10 because of unstable slopes.
The closure is impacting both directions between milepost 88 near Cle Elum and milepost 97 near the Thorp Highway.
WSDOT says crews are working to stabilize the slope and remove a tree that’s at risk of falling onto the roadway.
WSDOT hopes to reopen the road by the end of the week.
