The State Route 520 bridge will be closed from Friday, Aug. 26 at 11 p.m. to Monday, Aug. 29 at 5 a.m. due to scheduled construction.
During these times, the bridge will closed over Lake Washington in both directions, from Interstate 5 to the Eastside.
Crews plan to install new girders on the Montlake lid and realign the highway.
The SR 520 trail across Lake Washington will remain open for cyclists and pedestrians during the upcoming closure.
