SEATTLE — The State Route 99 tunnel will close this weekend for scheduled maintenance, the Washington State Department of Transportation announced.
Both directions of the tunnel will close starting at 10 p.m. Friday. The closure will last until 8 a.m. Sunday.
Crews will be performing warranty work left from tunnel construction, WSDOT said.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead and look for alternatives routes.
