SEATTLE — Students at Nathan Hale High School were dismissed early Thursday due to a water main break in the area.
Officials with Seattle Public Schools said the break was due to the city's work in the area and impacted service at the school.
Students were dismissed at 1:30 p.m.
Students are usually dismissed after reading time at 3:35 p.m.
The school has also canceled all after-school and evening activities, including basketball, gymnastics, wrestling and the evening music concert.
District officials said the building closed at 2 p.m. and will not be accessible, but school is expected to be in session Friday.
