A suspected drunk driver smashed into a WSDOT truck on Tuesday, as the truck provided traffic control for a disabled car and tow truck, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, an attenuator truck was providing traffic control for a disabled vehicle and a tow truck on westbound Interstate 90, just west of Easton.
Even with several signs warning of the closed lane, a car struck the truck.
There were no major injuries.
The Washington State Patrol arrested the driver of the car for a possible DUI.
WSDOT reminds all drivers to slow down, drive safe, be alert and secure your loads.
