A suspected DUI driver was arrested on Sunday after colliding with an SUV in Kirkland, according to the Washington State Patrol.
At around 6 a.m. on April 24, the Washington State Patrol responded to the report of an incident on southbound Interstate 405 near 85th Street in Kirkland.
According to a video of the incident provided by Washington State Patrol trooper Rick Johnson, a dark SUV traveling southbound was struck from behind by a pickup truck.
It appears the truck was speeding when it collided with the SUV, causing the SUV to spin out and come to a stop in the center of the roadway.
The truck driver appeared to lose control and spin out in front of an RV, before crashing on the side of the road.
The truck driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
There were no injuries.
