Well, here’s something that sucks.

The rankings for 2021′s Best Cities for Vampires have been staked, with Bellevue and Tacoma making the top 10, according to Lawn Love.

Cities popular with vampires have plenty of warm bodies, blood centers, homes with basements, plenty of cloudy days, few churches and no garlic festivals.

The top 10 best cities for vampires are:

  1. Naperville, IL
  2. Pittsburgh, PA
  3. Chicago, IL
  4. Omaha, NE
  5. Tacoma, WA
  6. St. Paul, MN
  7. Aurora, IL
  8. Columbus, OH
  9. Bellevue, WA
  10. Paterson, NJ

Not only did Naperville have the perfect balance of cloud cover, basements and an abundant blood supply, but the Illinois city also ranked fourth in lair safety.

While the “Twilight” series took place in Forks, Washington, thanks to the cloudy weather, blood centers and casket suppliers, Tacoma and Bellevue ranked fifth and ninth.
