Tacoma jewelry store held up in armed robbery

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the people responsible for an armed robbery.

It happened on Oct. 19 at Connection Fine Jewelry at 3822 North 26th Street in Tacoma. Police said the suspects, who were recorded by surveillance cameras, entered the business at 5:02 p.m. and robbed the store at gunpoint.

During the robbery, one of the suspects fired a round into the floor. They then fled in what appeared to be a maroon, 2000s Buick Century or Regal.

Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges for those responsible for the crime in this case.
