TACOMA, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Transportation is warning drivers who use the State Route 16 Tacoma Narrows Bridge to expect delays this weekend.
The westbound lanes of the bridge will be reduced to two lanes from 7 a.m. Saturday through 5 p.m. Sunday as crews make repairs. WSDOT will be “making temporary repairs permanent,” it said in a tweet Friday morning.
WSDOT said drivers may not see work activity happening while concrete is curing.
