TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot in the street near a high school.
According to police, officers responded to Tacoma’s North End neighborhood at around 2:30 a.m. to a report of shots fired and a man lying in the street.
Responding officers found one man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds but despite life-saving efforts from the officers and the Tacoma Fire Department, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed that Crime Scene Technicians and detectives were investigating the shooting as a homicide.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. our officers responded to a complaint of a shooting in the 4800 block of North 18th Street. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.
