TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a vehicle and driver believed to have been involved in a fatal collision.
On the morning of Feb. 14, the driver is believed to have been involved in a road rage incident. They were then involved in a fatal collision at the intersection of Center Street and South Orchard Street around 9 a.m.
The driver was seen chasing the victim’s vehicle at high speeds, traveling northbound on South Orchard Street between South 56th Street and Center Street.

After the collision, the driver is believed to have fled northbound on South Orchard Street or eastbound on Center Street.
Police say the vehicle is a silver 2015 or newer Mercedes C-class four-door sedan with a black roof.
The driver is described as a Black man in his 20s or 30s. He was wearing a down vest over a dark hooded sweatshirt with red writing on the sleeve, blue jeans, and red-and-white shoes at the time of the incident.
