Teen dies after pulled from Snoqualmie River

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — A 17-year-old boy who was pulled from the Snoqualmie River after jumping into the water died Tuesday.

Crews responded to a report of a possible drowning of a teen on Southeast Reinig Road and 396th Drive Southeast, east of Snoqualmie.

Deputies said the teen jumped off the Reinig Bridge and never came up.

The teen was pulled from the river by the King County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit and taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

Officials said the teen died Tuesday evening.
