A tentative agreement was reached to avert a strike by hundreds of EMTs in Seattle, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan said.

American Medical Response, which operates non-life threatening ambulance service in the city, and Teamsters local 763 reached the deal today.

Details are not yet known, but Durkan said the deal means better wages.
