THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — Deputies with the Thurston County Narcotics Task Force helped seize $1.156 million worth methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine in two recent bust operations.
The Sheriff's Office said deputies worked with Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration to make the busts.
Officials said the first operation was carried out at an undisclosed location in Tumwater and led to the arrest of a male on suspicion of possession of heroin with the intent to deliver.
“Law enforcement seized 2 kilos of heroin with an estimated street value of $440,000,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
Officials said the second operation was carried out at an undisclosed location in Olympia and led to the arrest of two males on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and cocaine.
“Four kilos of methamphetamine were seized with a street value of $600,000 in addition to 1 kilo of cocaine with a street value of $125,000,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
