SEATTLE — Fair warning for fans seeking for a last-minute ticket to watch the Sounders against Toronto FC in Sunday's MLS Cup: Be prepared for sticker shock.
On Tuesday afternoon, the online ticket exchange SeatGeek listed in club 211 as going for $2,500 each.

Season ticket holders were offered a presale opportunity Thursday while ticket were made available to the public at 10 a.m. Friday.
Around 1:15 p.m. Friday, the Sounders announced that all tickets had sold out – leaving fans looking for tickets to turn to online ticket exchanges such as SeatGeek.
The Sounders said a capacity crowd of 69,000 will pack CenturyLink Field in what will be "the most attended soccer match in Seattle history."

"As evidenced by today's near-immediate sellout, our fans are the most passionate and dedicated in the league," said Sounders FC Owner Adrian Hanauer. "We are thrilled to be playing a match of this magnitude in front of a historic home crowd of more than 69,000. This club has always benefited from the intensity and fervor that our fans bring to CenturyLink Field and next Sunday is a chance to add a historic new chapter to our home-field advantage."
Sunday's game will be the third time in four seasons the Sounders have played in the MLS Cup, but the first time at CenturyLink Field.
The Sounders beat Toronto FC on the road in 2016 for their first-ever MLS Cup, but fell to Toronto in 2017.
Fans looking for tickets are also able to sign up for a ticketing waitlist. The waitlist entry closes at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Lottery winners will be contacted as early as 2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
According to the MLS, winners must respond by 5 p.m. the day in which they're notified and can request up to four tickets.
