Tacoma will host next year’s Triple-A All-Star Game. Announcement expected Wednesday.
The team, and the city of Tacoma, plan an official announcement Wednesday, June 8.
The game features the best players from the Triple-A level of baseball around the country. Triple A is the direct level below Major League Baseball.
The Rainiers are the Mariners’ Triple-A affiliate. The Game will be played at Cheney Stadium.
