TACOMA, Wash. — Washington State Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash involving a jaywalker in Tacoma.
Troopers say the driver of a Ford F-150 hit someone who was jaywalking on Northbound State Route 7, just north of 100th Street South, around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
Their identity has not been released.
Northbound lanes of SR-7 were blocked while troopers investigated this incident.
