Troopers looking for 1 of 2 drivers who hit and killed man on I-5

TACOMA, Wash. — Troopers are looking for one of two drivers who hit and killed a pedestrian on Interstate 5 in Tacoma.

A man was standing on northbound I-5 just north of Portland Avenue when he was hit by two cars at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday, troopers said.

One car stopped, but the other driver kept going.

No description of the vehicle or driver has been released.

The freeway was partially blocked for 2 and 1/2 hours.

The victim is a 25-year-old from Lakewood.
