PASCO, Wash. — Troopers with the Washington State Patrol say Department of Ecology crews recently found bags of marijuana on the side of a highway in Pasco.
Officials said the Ecology clean up crews found the marijuana on the shoulder of I-182.
Trooper C. Thorson posted a picture of the marijuana on Twitter and wrote, in part, “Our troopers would be interested in talking to you … PS, your Tapatio Doritos bag is empty!”

According to the Department of Ecology, more than 12 million pounds of litter is tossed and blown onto state highways and roads.
To help clear litter, the Department has an Ecology Youth Corps program that hires 300 teenagers across Washington to pick up trash for $12 per hour. Click here to read more.
