TUKWILA, Wash. — The Tukwila Food Pantry is seeing an enormous need for meals during this crisis, and it wants to make sure people are getting their food.
The pantry started a campaign to get a new delivery truck.
Its current truck is 15 years old, has more than 575,000 miles on it and is in dire need of repair.
Some donors have already stepped up to help get a new truck, but the pantry still needs to raise more money.
Since the pandemic began, the pantry went from serving 300 households per week to more than 1,000.
