A neighborhood in Tukwila was put on lockdown Thursday evening.
Seattle police told a KIRO 7 reporter at the scene of an apartment complex that the incident involved a person with a domestic violence warrant.
Police blocked Southcenter Boulevard, which was reopened later after the SWAT situation.
At one point there were armored vehicles and officers from other agencies assisting in the investigation.
KIRO 7 saw a man in a wheelchair apparently handcuffed and being consoled by a woman as officers with K-9 unites and long guns and armored SWAT vehicles stood nearby.
When police were asked about the warrant and if the suspect was armed, they said those details would not be released.
The incident is under investigation.
