Two arrested after Kirkland man found fatally stabbed in crashed car

ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Two people were arrested by Issaquah police on Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of a 28-year-old man.

Issaquah police were called to the 8200 block of Renton-Issaquah Road Southeast at 9:30 p.m. Sunday for a single-car crash.

When officers arrived, they found a man dead in the driver’s seat who appeared to have died under suspicious circumstances. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office later determined the victim, Cherno Ceesay of Kirkland, died from stab wounds to his head and neck.

The two suspects, a 21-year-old woman and 21-year-old man, both who live in Bellevue were arrested for investigation of second-degree murder.

Issaquah police have not yet said what led up to the stabbing.
