GRAHAM, Wash. — Two men were shot, one fatally, by a third man when tempers flared in Graham early Monday.

At 1:44 a.m., Pierce County deputies were called to a report of a shooting at 20707 92nd Avenue East.

Deputies arrived to find a man down on the side of the street. They were told a second man was driven to a fire station at 187th and Meridian Avenue East.

After securing the crime scene, deputies followed the second man to a hospital. Though the 48-year-old has serious injuries, he’s expected to live.

His 36-year-old friend, however, died at the scene.

After interviewing several people, detectives and deputies learned the shooting stemmed from an argument over a motorcycle. According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, the two victims had either borrowed or taken the motorcycle, and a third man took it back.

The argument ended with the two men being shot and the gunman leaving the scene.

The suspect has not been arrested.
