MASON COUNTY, Wash. — Two people were seriously hurt after two cars crashed into each other on State Route 3.
It happened Friday morning in the southbound lanes.
Troopers with Washington State Patrol (WSP) said speed and icy conditions were factors.
WSP said one driver was headed northbound, tried to pass someone, and hit an oncoming car head-on.
Both people are expected to survive.
