SEATTLE — Two firefighters were injured during a call early Thursday in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle.
Firefighters were called to home near East Roanoke Street and Eastlake Avenue East at 2:20 a.m. for a 27-year-old man who had overdosed, according to Seattle fire.
Officers arrived to find a man fighting with one of the firefighters. Seattle police said it took multiple officers to restrain the man and take him into custody.
Firefighters then evaluated the man and decided to transport him to Harborview for treatment.
Two firefighters and one police officer were injured during the fight and were treated for their injuries.
Police said further investigation revealed that that suspect had attacked a woman in the home and a domestic violence assault report was taken by officers.
