FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Two trucks collided on Highway 18 in Federal Way, near the I-5 exit on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. near Federal Way. The incident resulted in both trucks catching fire and were fully engulfed in flames.

All occupants are safe with non-life threatening injuries, according to a tweet from WSP Trooper Rick Johnson.
All lanes EB and WB on SR-18 at Weyerhaeuser are blocked due to a semi-truck vs pickup truck collision. All occupants are safe with non-life threatening injuries. Expect significant delays. The westbound lanes of the freeway reopened around 3:45 p.m. and the eastbound lanes reopened around 4 p.m.
The fire was mostly contained by around 2:30 p.m.
