BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Around 10:56 a.m. a car going northbound on Interstate 5 in Bellingham was hit by a falling tree.
WSP said that two people in the car escaped with minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The crash happened near milepost 245 near Lake Samish.
“Please stay vigilant, watch for debris in the road, and report downed power lines,” WSP wrote in an X post.
