SEATTLE — Vaccinated-only sections will open for Mariners games at T-Mobile Park starting Thursday night.
That means no social distancing is necessary for immunized baseball fans.
Priced as low as $10, the seats will be open at games through June 2. Anyone who shows proof that they have been fully vaccinated will receive special rewards at games from May 13 to 19, whether they are sitting in the vaccinated-only sections or not.
Rewards include free T-shirts, discounts on food, beverages and some items at the Mariners Team Store; access to the T-Mobile ‘Pen and Trident Deck; and dedicated vaccinated-only entry lanes at the right field and center field gates.
Full vaccination means at least 14 days have passed since the final dose. Proof can be shown by providing a vaccination card including the name, vaccine type and date of last dose. A photo of the card, either physical or on a mobile device, can also be used. See what also can be used as proof at this link.
Children ages 2 to 15 can show proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Providing proof of a negative test is not an option for adults.
Masks are still required to be worn except while eating and drinking.
Capacity in the sections is capped at about 5,000 people.
If you haven’t been vaccinated yet, you can do so at games through a partnership with Seattle and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
People can pick either the two-dose Moderna or the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Tickets in the vaccination-only sections may not be resold.
