LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A person is in critical condition after an early morning shooting in Lakewood, officials said.
Lakewood police officers responded around 12:46 a.m. Monday to reports of a shooting at the Gravelly Lake Townhomes in the 13000 block of Pacific Highway SW.
The reports said that several shots were heard and some vehicles were seen fleeing the scene.
Police said that an initial investigation revealed that the victim left a party and went into the parking lot where the victim was shot. The suspects and cars involved are unknown.
The victim was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition.
The Lakewood Police Department is continuing to investigate.
