Volunteers help rescue dog stuck down cliff near Snoqualmie Pass

Volunteers with King County Explorer Search and Rescue and Seattle Mountain Rescue on Sunday helped rescue a dog that was stuck several hundred feet down a cliff near Snoqualmie Pass.

Officials said that around 10 a.m. Saturday they were called to help rescue the 120 pound Akita named Bear.

The rescue teams worked overnight to set up a rope rescue system to help bring Bear back to the trail.

The rescue was finished around 6:30 a.m.
