PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for two women who are wanted for suspicion of identity theft and possession of stolen mail.
Arrest warrants for Priscilla Scott and Anne Faalogo were issued as part of the investigation into the murder of Richard Taii in Port Orchard on Jan. 10, the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
Investigators say Scott and Faalogo were in an SUV that Taii was driving when he was shot and killed while allegedly stealing mail.
Chad Michael Landon Wilson, 39, was charged with murder in Taii’s death.
The moments before the shooting were recorded by several neighbors’ surveillance cameras, as well as the sounds of a man screaming he wanted his mail back followed by a gunshot.
There are different versions of what exactly happened in a cul-de-sac right before Taii was shot.
Wilson, who got out of his truck while holding a 9mm handgun, claims he shot Taii in self-defense when Taii sped toward him in an SUV, court documents said.
Taii’s girlfriend, however, told police that Taii was trying to drive around Wilson’s truck when Wilson got out of his truck and fired at the SUV.
Scott and Faalogo are also wanted for arrest warrants from other law enforcement jurisdictions.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911.
