Washington launches site to find and claim lost funds

OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Department of Revenue has launched a new website to make it simpler for Washingtonians to find and claim lost funds.

The site, ClaimYourCash.org, has been completely overhauled and streamlined to make it easier to find funds and process claims.

Unclaimed property can include a number of things, including bank accounts, insurance proceeds, stocks, safe deposit box contents and more.

To date, the state has returned over a billion dollars to their rightful owners.
