PUYALLUP, Wash. — The Washington State Fair in Puyallup is scheduled to go on as planned, running Sept. 4-27, according to a release from fair officials.
However, officials said they are working on modifications to safely reopen the events center, as the phased reopening of the state’s economy goes forward.

Specific details on safety and precautionary measures and other changes will be provided as planning goes forward, officials said.
According to the release, necessary enhanced adjustments will be made to minimize the health impacts of COVID-19.
However, when guests visit the Washington State Fair, they will “voluntarily” assume all risks related to exposure of the virus, the release stated.
