Troopers with the Washington State Patrol on Monday released data on the number of driving under the influence arrests made over St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
Thirty-five drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence over the weekend in Pierce and Thurston counties, Trooper Johnna Batiste said.
Batiste said 31 of the arrests were the result of traffic stops while four were the result of collisions.

The number of driving under the influence arrests in Snohomish and Whatcom counties has not yet been released as of this writing.
