The Seattle Police Department released a video that shows a police SUV being lit on fire while an officer was inside.
It also shows the officer firing shots through the windshield. The video is a combination of body camera, dash camera and surveillance video.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood.

The suspect threw a flaming piece of wood into the car while the officer was inside. The officer then fired gunshots through the windshield of the car. The suspect was not hurt.
