PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man, after a concerned homeowner called 911 – saying they heard a loud smash and it sounded like someone was walking around their garage.
It happened on January 14.
When deputies arrived, they heard someone rummaging around in the garage.
Deputies say the man had a screwdriver and bolt cutters on him.
The homeowner confirmed they didn’t know the man or how he got into the garage.
The man was booked into the Pierce County Jail for residential burglary.
