SEATAC, Wash. — Flights intending to take off to SEA are being held at their point of origin for an average of more than one hour right now.
This is to space out the traffic in anticipation of thunderstorm problems later this evening.
Some flights coming to SeaTac have been grounded through 10 p.m.
The Federal Aviation Administration said there is a 30 percent probability that the ground stop may be extended beyond 10 p.m.
