SEATTLE — The Weeknd won’t be performing next year at Climate Pledge Arena, the singer announced this week.
The multi-platinum singer was set to stop in Seattle as one of 66 stops for his After Hours World Tour.
This was the first official show announced for the new Climate Pledge Arena back in February.
According to a post on the singer’s website, the tour dates are moving and will start again in the summer of 2022.
“Due to constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums,” the post read.
Tickets are being automatically refunded, and ticket holders will be given priority to buy tickets for the stadium shows when they go on sale.
New dates will be released later, the post said.
