WESTPORT, Wash. — Sunday is the last day to experience the Mermaid Festival at the International Mermaid Museum at the Westport Winery Garden Resort.
“In addition to the museum’s enchanting educational exhibits, the festival boasts a series of special attractions for visitors of all ages during this celebration of the sea. Everyone will enjoy seeing mermaids and bigfoot around the museum, gardens, and the event tent,” said the International Mermaid Museum.

There will also be Olive the Alchemist on the mermaid throne, vertical axis performers on a 20-foot high wire, Pacific Northwest Unicorns, mermaid artwork, oyster shucking for pearls, fire dancing, and a treasure hunt with prizes.
University of Washington oceanography candidate Katherine Qi will also have a booth on ocean ecology, and Mellie’s Mini Donuts will be offering their tasty treats in their food truck, said the museum.
