KING COUNTY, Wash. — Deputies are hoping someone can identify a man who robbed a White Center marijuana store in July.
Investigators say that shortly before 8 a.m. on July 30, a man entered Uncle Ike's marijuana shop in the 9800 block of 15th Avenue Southwest armed with a handgun.
Surveillance video shows the man quickly walk into the store, point the gun at an employee and then jump over the counter.
The man stole an unknown amount of cash and then left the store on foot.
There were four employees at the store during the robbery. No injuries were reported.
Surveillance video from the day before the crime shows the man in shorts and a baseball hat outside the store. He is believed to have been casing the store before the robbery.
The robber is described as black, about 20 to 30 years old, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and carrying a satchel.
Anyone with information about the robbery or who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-8477 or the King County Sheriff’s Office.
