SEATTLE — Here we blow again!
If you have Christmas inflatables lying in the yard or a big pile of leaves you have yet to put into the yard waste bin, now might be the time to move them.
As a very large and powerful low-pressure storm system moves closer to the region, the wind will be drawn offshore from east to west and the locations susceptible to Cascade gap winds — such as Enumclaw, North Bend, and as far west as SeaTac — could have gusts over 40 mph to possibly 55 mph late Wednesday and overnight.

The same goes for coastal locations.
A Wind Advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday for the east Puget Sound lowlands including Covington-Sawyer, Maple Valley, Monroe, Prairie Ridge, Enumclaw, Bonney Lake, and Woodinville for east winds of 25 to 40 mph with gusts of up to 55 mph.
A Wind Advisory is also in effect for the western Strait of Juan De Fuca, the North Coast, and the Central Coast for east winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph.
Elsewhere, it will be breezy into Wednesday night but winds should top out in the 20 to 35 mph range. The peak of the wind will be late Wednesday night.
It should remain breezy on Thursday with scattered showers.
Another round of rain is expected for Friday with some gusty to breezy spots.
Most of Saturday looks dry until Saturday evening when some rain returns.
We’ll keep scattered showers in the forecast for Sunday.
